Streaming 101: using the schedule to your advantage
In formats where you can rotate players, the schedule is a resource. Here's how to read it and plan a week instead of a night.

If your format lets you rotate your roster through the week, you have a lever that season-long-only players don't: the schedule itself. Some nights are packed; others are sparse. Planning around that is what people mean by 'streaming.'
Plan the week, not the night
Instead of asking 'who do I start tonight,' zoom out and map the week. Which nights are light on games, so a marginal player gets you meaningful activity? Which nights are crowded, so you can afford to be selective? A quick weekly plan beats a nightly scramble almost every time.
Benchlytics lays the slate out so you can see where the opportunity is before it arrives, not after.
Matchup context, not matchup obsession
Matchup ratings help you separate a favorable spot from a difficult one, but don't over-index on a single number. A strong player in a slightly tougher spot is usually still a strong player. Use matchup context to break ties and find value, not to bench your best options on a hunch.
Stay flexible
The best weekly plan is one you're willing to change. News moves, roles shift, and a great plan on Monday can look different by Thursday. Build the plan, then let new information update it, that's the whole point of research.
