The data behind the numbers
Good decisions start with good information. Here is where our data comes from, how coverage works, and the lines we will not cross.
Where our data comes from
Projections are built from publicly observable information: box scores and official statistics, historical and recent performance, expected opportunity, matchup and pace, and lineup and injury news as it is reported.
How often it updates
Data refreshes throughout the day across every league we cover. When lineup or injury news lands, the affected projections respond, so you are not deciding on stale information.
How coverage works
Each league is covered through its season, with breadth across teams and players. We continually expand the leagues and competitions we support over time.
Formats & export
Benchlytics works alongside your own leagues and formats, with custom scoring profiles on higher tiers and CSV export so you can keep working the way you prefer.
Eight leagues, one workflow
The lines we will not cross
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not accept wagers, hold funds or run contests. Benchlytics is an analytics tool, not a sportsbook.
- We do not present projections as guarantees. They are estimates, and sports are unpredictable.
- We are transparent about how the numbers are built, on our methodology page.
